About

LYDIA TEEBAY

“Having started her career by carving out a reputation as one of London’s leading independent creatives, Lydia’s experience now stretches to a wide variety of disciplines.”

Originally from Cheshire, I moved to London aged 18, to study Graphic and Media Design at LCC, UAL. Whilst studying in London, I quickly found work as an inhouse Graphic Designer for an events company where I worked throughout my degree.

Always keen to develop new skills, after university I worked my way around London, picking up a large portfolio of clients across a number of industries (hospitality, finance, marketing, apparel, music and events to name a few).

With these relationships and connections established, I was able to realise my passion in finding and solving problems – I began by giving the struggling artists that I knew, the exposure they needed. This was the birth of Luna Design House, where I brought together a collective of likeminded designers, all with the desire to create good design.

Luna was a great starting block where I learnt many different things about running a company, but after a few years I realised I needed a new challenge. Now with passion for not just design, but also expanding on my technical skills and to lead a team, I headed into agency and incubator work, where I’ve held recent roles of Senior Designer, Head of Design, and Head of Product.

Nowadays, I can be found in the Yorkshire region, picking up contract and freelance work with my cat (Maui) to keep me company.
